Hihi, Im staying at Senja Rd, I wanna put my gal in this school also but mine is registration for year 2018, gotta wait till next year when the registration is open. Would like to do some \"homework\" 1st, as I have a younger son who will be gg to CC next year near De La Salle, that's y I hope my gal would b able to get into this school. Could you or any1 kindly update me more info if you have? etc: Teachers, environment, their school-base SC inside.

Are your kids eligible for earlier phases such as 2a1, 2a2 and 2B? If you are only eligible for phase 2c,I’m afraid there’s no chance for your kids to get into DLS as it usually requires balloting for kids within 1 km. In certain years it was for within 1-2 km.

Hi Ruru, We are staying 1-2Km and thinking wanted to check out the pick up timing first. we are then ready to make a decision in case there is a need for ballot or if it is too early the timing we may not want to ballot should they ballot for 1km-2km this year.


Do you have any idea or information? This will be helpful.

We used to be within 1km, but have shifted to bp for about 2yrs.
We are under phase 2C. But my child will still be at their grandparent's house during weekdays, which is within 1km. But I also intended to put her in the school SC, don't think im eligible for the home-school distance priority as child has to prove that they have been reside at there for at least 30tmths and they have to be continue under their care if they had been given the chance to go in DLS.
Correct me if I've got the wrong meaning/info.

Hi qian,

You are almost correct. But, if you use caregiver route, you will be placed under 1-2 km even if the caregiver stays within 1 km of the school.

Im not sure when's the date which they open for volunteers, as for this year I only get to know thru De Le Salle school web in June, but am late as their closing date was in end May.

Hi I joined this forum recently.


I am staying in Choa Chu Kang (1-2km) and i am PR with my Son being PR. I happen to see that there is still nearly 135 seats available as of the MOE website update in this school. Can any one advise if my son may have a chance, as i understand in this school highest priority is for Singaporeans. Will there be any chances of balloting?

hi hi Caramel u in DLS already? Im thinking of registering for DLS in 2c. gotta see the figures on last day of 2C. understands that last yr there is balloting required for SC within 1km.
