-
We have updated our http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/event/2016-p1-registration-phase-2c. Do read it to find out the potential competitiveness for the schools which you have your eyes on, and use it for planning your strategy next week.
Good luck to all our KiasuParents! -
MommyK:
Does anyone know the phase 2B breakdown for St Andrew's Junior?
Hi MommyK! There are 35 vying for 27 slots within Phase 2B for SAJS. Found out from school -
That is my only concern. Oh God

Hi hi, what are the chances for SCGS at 2C???
I noticed last year was the first time there was a ballot <2km…
Previous years there were no chance for <2km…
This year?? Any inputs appreciated.
Thank you. -

Would like to add that the balloting for SJI Jr <1km were caused by parents coming in last minute to register at SJI Jr because they wanted to avoid balloting at ACPS and ACJS. or felt that their chances at both schools were not to their favour.
For what it's worth, there were also 5 withdrawals from SJI Jr last year in Phase 2C, which means the number of vacancies also increased by 5 for Phase 2C.
The TUR for 2016 so far in the area look strikingly similar to 2012. That year, SJIJ ballot for 1-2km. But having said that, there is an outside chance of a ballot within 1km, which happened once in the past 10 year history (year 2011).
and one more thing, Miren, the similarity applies to ACS P as well. Let's not forget the leftover (6) for 2b within 1km for ACS P would probably try again in 2C, so it seem more challenging for ACS P.

Last year, the balloting for SCGS at 2C is for >2km.Hi hi, what are the chances for SCGS at 2C???

http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/novena was 69% which was one of the lowest in the last 10 years. This year, the 2016 2B TUR is 76%, and if you look at the past history, whenever the 2B TUR goes above 70%, there will be balloting within 1km for SCGS.
The closest to this year's pattern is 2010, where there was balloting within 1km.
So, my bet is on SCGS having to ballot within 1km this year for P2C. -
Hi parents, want to check something about address. The address on my child’s birth cert is different to our home address on our IC. That time we haven’t bought our own house yet. Will it be fine??
