There is some kind of Buddist study but from I know, it's not compulsory. Based on what I know, there are children who didn't attend & they would be brought to library for story telling.dear parents,
my hubby is alumni of MBS and consider to enroll our kids to MBS.
I'm happy to know that MBS is a SAP school that offers higher Chinese.
I saw in one post that one parent is missing the ex principal. I'm just curious about how is the principal managing the school?
is she students oriented?
and pls pardon me, no offense really. we are a Christian family, is there any weekly buddhist teachings that every students have to attend? or we can be exempted?
However, if you're concerned about the child bowing to Buddha, like another parent mentioned in an earlier post, then you might wish to reconsider. However, I don't think they're very strict that your child must bow, not forgetting there are teachers of other religions. -
Hi anyone has girl school uniform to give away?

Hi gracekk, I just register my child to Bao Ta at Blk 306 level 2. Above Giant. Environment is a bit old but Organised. Aircon for study room, non aircon in the hall. Staffs there are friendly, children there are well behaved. You may want to check it out.
Another 1 is the Marine Parade Maha Bodhi Student Care at Blk 316 void deck. Heard that they serve Vegetarian food only. I am not quite sure, attempted to check it out but the door was shut due to fully aircon facilities. -

Hi Monkeyqueen, thank you very much! The school recommended Marine Parade Maha Bodhi student care but when I went to see I feel it is not very organized and the teacher is not warmhearted. She asked me look around myself and consider.
I am a bit reluctant to put my girl here as they only serve vegetarian food. Yes, you are right - Bao Ta above Giant is a bit old but the teachers are quite nice and helpful from what I saw. The rooms are clean and neat. Although it is not up to my expectation, it is the best I can find around the neighborhood. My girl is going to P1 next year, hope she will find herself comfortable here.

Have heard from a few friends that Bao Ta is better because:
1. For lower primary, there is a designated do homework / assessment time from 9am to 10am, they even recommend an assessment book to buy, but you can use your own assessment book too.
2. Teachers are better and more friendly.
