Yes, a student can be awarded both EESIS and NUSH Scholarship. NUSH Scholarship is cash award credited to the bank account of your child. Use it any way you like.dagong99:
The selected candidates will be called up for interview before they join the school and the award will be given once they accept the offer to join the school. The names of the awardees will also be announced on Speech Day.
However, if these awardees are also awarded NUSH Tay Eng Soon Scholarship in future, they have to give up the NUS High Scholarship, that is, these 2 scholarships are mutually exclusive, you can only have either one but not both.
Can anyone enlighten how this scholarship can be used? In terms of school fees, if the student is eligible for EESIS, it can be used to defray school fees. Is the NUSH Scholarship still applicable then? :?
The reporting time is 7.45am. 1st bell @7.40am -

I had to spend 80 minutes to travel one way to and from school. It might be hard the first few days (and the first few days after any holiday), but those who stay in the east get used to it pretty quickly.May I know what is the reporting time for school?
A bit kiasu to ask now  but I am quite concerned about the distance DS has to travel. -
Thanks moontan and artume!

Hi
Anyone able to advise for those being selected for interview, the candidates will either be offered or waiting list? Any rejection among them?
If it is so, then it left a low percentage of the candidates who didn’t went for the interview to get an offer? -
My DD went for the interview Monday.
Before the interview, there is a short briefing.
Information that gathered:
about 80 students (break into 2 groups) went for interview on Monday, and accordingly to them, out of these 80, about 80% that will be offered (not sure include Waiting list), 20% will be rejected.
Maximum intake is 170 this year.
So if this is true, mean that about 100 students already in their confirmed list, and don’t have to attend the interview session…
Well, keep the finger crossed, and all the best to those that either attended the selection interview and/or camp.
Selection result will be out a few days before the DSA preview (13th August) thru’ email and portal. -
Thanks
