so much homework everyday for prelim. can't imagine what the load will be for psle :nailbite:

I wonder whether all these homework get marked and mistakes explained. DD did about 10 math revision papers these 2-3 weeks but none has been returned! I find that teachers are stressing and tiring the poor kids and quantity does not equate quality! Talk about diminishing returns. Sigh.

That's true. Only responsible teachers will finish marking and return soonest. There is no point giving them papers but did not go through what kind of mistakes they made. In that way they will only keep on making the same mistakes.


Our approach is we will always do one set and go through it before doing another. Our students have drastically improve by at least 40 marks within two months. So it is really depending on the type of teacher/tutor you get.

What if we cannot make it to collect results personally on that day itself? Can we collect from school other day or it will be posted to us?

let the sch knows, collect fr sch should be possible.


i notice past yrs sec 1 reporting is after 20 Dec . come back on 18 , 19 Dec should be safe.

I believe that you can authorise someone to collect the results and the Sec 1 Posting Exercise Form (with its PIN) on your behalf. The Sec 1 choices can be made online. So, on this basis, any dates are safe.
