just wan't to share my heart broken

happend yesterday at recess time 9.30.
my girls was playing at basket ball court with some of her friend from other class and when she was running she was push from other class and one of her friens saw it.
both knee was bleeding and one qiute bad, her upper and lower lip , and 3tooth broken and 2 of it was permanent teeth.

no one have call us from the school.
they have help her to report to the office and tehy do take first aids.
and she also have inform the form teacher and mention her friend also saw that some one push her when she was runnning, and the one push her at that time did't play with they are group.

form teacher just tell my maid when pick my daughter and she was scream to ask what happend to my girl. and the form teacher came to her and explaint that
\"she was playing and claim that she was push, but i have ask the student that no one see and admid to push her. please explaint that to her parent ! \" :x
        :x :x
i want to ask her if this thing happen to her children how she will feel
but to bad from what i know this teacher do not have any children yet.

bring her to hospital at 4pm after i hear the news from my maid and rush back home. most all the people and the docter saw her was said it's very hurt ache to look at her.
        😢 😢
dentis mention \" if she fall and hit her chin the impact it will be worst and she is for sure have to go for surgery because of the force and it will lead to jaw dislocation \"
and just hope that next month visit we will have some good news that her teeth will not died

i'm not singaporean and i'm not to sure about rule in sing school.
every children have parent why can't they call us.

but in my opinion if the school just let pass like that, the same thing will repead again and to who ???? and what kind of injury will happend ???
and also will lead the wrong thinking to the student \" as long we are in the group and we united and didn't admid nothing will happned and no one will know and the school or the teacher can't do anything\"

teacher should take action to find out who?, in order to teach the children to take responsibility and admid that she was wrong and appologise.
and we want to know the reason if it done by purpose

i still thinking what should i do for this case.
will go to school today to hear direct from the teacher

Feel sorry for your gal…it must be a great and hard fall. Nevertheless, I feel that the office or FT shld call the parents after the incident as I believe there must be alot of blood due to her broken tooth too.

I think when the student is bleeding and hurted so badly, it is school’s responsibility to inform the parents immediately as the child will be more comfortable with her parents. Any way, feeling very sorry to hear this. My all best wishes for your daughter’s speedy recovery.

I felt sorry for your daughter. yes Its school’s responsibility to call you. Its looks like she has gone through agreat pain. wondering how she managed to wait until 4 o clk. did she asked the office to call you? bcos my exp. they are ok n nice. they did call me when my daughter forget her art bag once. and they advice her to use the pay ph. but your case is different. atleast she should have ask her frnd to call you using the pay ph. take care of her.

Jovanna, how awful!! You are right, the school should have called parent, not tell maid to tell parent. How irresponsible is that!!! I also fell when I was in primary 2. I was playing catching during recess and tripped over a girl in front of me who had fallen first. We were playing on a cement court and I broke my two front teeth. We all panicked because there was blood all over my mouth. We went to the office and they cleaned me up, then called my mom. She took a while to come but then we went to the dentist.

This happened in 1975. There was no dentist in the school then, like they have now. I think you should write to the principal and tell her everything. Telling us is good but we are only a small percentage of SMPS parents. If you tell her, hopefully she will take action against the errant staff. She’s a mum too so she should understand your heartache.

                    my view

no matter where ever you send them for extra class ..... pls make them sit and practice what ever they studied at school.
actually for this age you can buy work books at popular make them practice topic by topic with the school. you can buy practice test papers to review. stress free option.

by the way is there any exams for p1 in may?
Our problem is not the practice, it's that we don't know how to teach the methods. We don't have the teacher's guide and we never learned maths this way in our time (1970s), so this is quite alien to us.
Can you let me know which workbooks/test papers are the most relevant? There are different types, I don't want to buy the wrong one and confuse my daughter.
No exams for P1 in May. Only year-end. End-May is the PTC.

This is great, thanks :rahrah: :rahrah: My daughter relies on others to help her buy things at recess (and that bookshop!!), she just can't fathom money no matter how hard we try to help her with it.
