u can bank in ,there might be asmall admin charge for certain qty of coins

One reason why hawkers stop accepting 5cent coins is because of the admin fee.

I still have a few 1 cent coins, enough to make up 5 cts

About 20 coins can easily be used up. At hawker, food court, markets etc.

I usually change the bigger notes and keep quite abit of coins and $2 notes in my wallet for dd school pocket money..easily more than 20 coins..and now few days into school holiday. Almost all gone le. I gave her exact change to queue and buy own food.
