I am interested in PH and my girl has a couple of year to P1 registration.

Currently, we are considering move resident place to Upper Bukit Timah.
However, I noticed many parents discuss PH is to move (temporarily) for expansion.
I would like to know how will this affect P1 registration. Will distance be calculated based on new campus or current one?

I just called PH hotline, they replied me "there is no confirmed information, you need to wait and check with us after a few years when your daughter is about to register P1"

For me, this reply means I should not consider PH when buy my apartment. My personal feeling is their hotline is not considerate at all, actually what I need to learn is just will they measure distance from current location or new (temporary) location. I somewhat 95% believe what you guys said that the distance should be measured based on current location. But after getting PH’s reply, I really do not want to risk over 1 million dollars on sth not confirmed, not mentioning there are so many other good schools in sg.
Well, it is really confusing. Are there other cases that other school moves?

MOE states very clearly the definition of new site, holding site and permanent site.


Dun call the general office for info- the staff who mend the phone line might be a parent volunteer or some staff who does not bother to know MOE regulations or simply does not have the information as MOE has not disclosed the exact plan.

Write to MOE directly to get confirmation that the school will be undergoing PRIME and the school will move back to the current site once PRIME is completed, or the school will be moved to a new permanent site.

Based on this link, correct @ June 2016, there is no relocation of PH to another site in 2017.

Hi Parents of Kids at Pei Hwa,


My daughter going to P1 next year. Just received letter from Pei Hwa to buy books/stationary and uniform.
Rather than scrolling through the entire forum without any idea what to look for, I am hoping that current parents can share what to take note for this "exercise" as well as any invaluable experiences that you had?
