It's a known brand of oral treatments aimed to relieve the pain of mouth ulcers and denture sores.

Niece is preparing for her A levels. I think all the stress has gotten to her. She started developing ulcers in her mouth and tongue. It was so bad that she has problem eating. After a few days, fever started and she went to the docs. Doc said bacteria infection. Gave her antibiotics and mouth rinse.

Oh dear...the hot weather must have got to her. My son has sore throat yesterday...gave him medication and made him drink more water. Weather is not helping either. I have ulcer powder bought from the pharmacy.

We find that Bonjela is quite ineffective. We use it if the ulcer is just about starting, but our go-to solution is the salt water or salt. If the ulcer is not really developed yet, drinking å‡‰čŒ¶ helps too.

Ulcers are breaks in the skin, and with food etc, it's hard to keep the infection from getting worse. Salt is an antiseptic.

[/quote]Another classic case of different strokes for different folks.

It has been very effective for all of us (for mouth ulcers, regardless of which stage) in my family all this time. 2 days tops and all clear. No salty residue or pain. Just minty & mild stinging. No clinic consultation required.

I have stopped going polyclinic for a long time. Either the wait is unbearable, or I (am easily susceptible) get other infection/bacteria (apart from what I was suffering from) from the crowd, regardless how early I'm there. Priority is given to infants, children with high fever and/or infectious illness like pox and hfmd and elderly, so queue number hardly goes in order.

For mouth ulcers, we apply a green chinese medicine powder. Dd drinks little cooling tea and so not surprising to have them

Today's weather is really, really warm šŸ™‚
