I was dancing Kpop with DS last night and as expected I was hilariously clumsy! That make him laugh real hard! When the dad ask him this morning how to keep calm when nervous, he said he will remember mummy's move... That will make him smile. I hope that will help him keep calm :evil:

I think many of us are in the same boat...trying hard to act normal before the big day and not talking about it.
asked daughter to bring the entry proof for her oral. she did so but came back and told me it wasn't necessary as the timekeeper has all the info...furthermore she has accommodation like extra reading time, so there must be several asterisks beside her name.

I remember this time when my DS sat for his PSLE last year. He was so nervous (as parents we could tell), although boys being boys, didn’t really show it but manifested in many ways.

He couldn’t sleep the entire night for his English oral, slept only 2 hours the night before his Chinese oral and had to go to A&E clinic in one of the hospitals at 1am before sitting for his Chinese written paper about 7 hours later. Understandably, Chinese was and still is his weakest, barely passing it all the time (yep, always 49.5% or 50% for his school exams). Fortunately, all ended well… he came back with all distinctions, including A*!

So to Mommies and Daddies out there, I know it is a trying time. Have faith in your child, give them a good hug every morning, smile and tell them to just do their best!
