Not surprising. These centres are small fish compared to those you know.

              Hi Metz
Don't mind can share your feedback for these centers that you have pasted links and tried? Because I've heard about them but never try before. Thanks!

Actually I prefer small fish. There's exclusivity
The problem is finding them. I don't know where to look

My experience with The Education Advocates probably won't be able to help you much. My son was with Mrs Raymond 3 months before PSLE. I placed him there for more practices just before PSLE. According to my son, they wrote a compo every lesson. They would start off with brainstorming and the teacher would check on the viability of their ideas before they proceeded to pen their compo down. My son is thankful that Mrs Raymond helped him explored a lot of storylines instead of writing them off.

As for Curious College, Donna is guiding my daughter for novel-writing. Her students are working on an e-publication of their novels. She also does school compo writing upon parents' requests. My girl attended the philosophy workshop during the June holidays. She recommends the workshop as she found it fun and spurred her to think more.

Curious College just popped up on my FB one fine day, and I thought it refreshing as it differs from the usual compo writing classes.

As for The Education Advocates, my friend highly recommended it but I was rather hesitant as I was worried that it might be a waste of time. I actually spoke for an hour on the phone with one of the teachers before signing him up for trial lessons. Glad he had an enjoyable time having lessons with Mrs Raymond.

                      FantasyLandDreams,

On Study Room, my kids have never been with them. I got to know about the centre via FB too.

Have been following them since they first started out at Bugis. Their classes seem like a lot of fun learning. I remembered they even brought the students to the broadcasting studio.

You can visit their FB @ https://www.facebook.com/studyroomsg/?fref=ts .
