Any idea if the students are expected to be in school for any orientation or event after matriculation but before the start of the new academic year?

Most secondary students who are not taking \"O\" level do no have to attend school during the \"O\" level exam period. So, this could give an impression that most secondary school started their school holiday earlier. In fact the actual school holiday is 19 Nov 2016, same as primary school. As NUSH does not have \"O\" level exam, therefore its holiday start on 19 Nov 2016. I was confused last time why NUSH always has their end term school holiday later than other secondary school, but now I know all secondary school has the same end term school holiday.
