Considering that NYPS has only 4 principals till date (with the current one dating to Dr Ng Eng Hen's time as Education Minister), the \"one thing\" isn't so clear when there's not much data to draw or infer on.

It's guaranteed balloting for SC < 1km every year.

So I'm still not sure whether that validate or invalidate your claim.

Oh, I did not know Pei Chun is a no brand school. I thought it is almost same standard as Ai Tong. Anyway, hope that the new P will continue to produce good results.

The reason why I asked who the new principal is becos my son is born in 2012 n he is registering in 2 yrs time. My hubby is alumni of Aitong. We stayed in marine parade n there are many good schools ard our estate so I’m not sure if after changing new principal it’s worth to give a shoot at AT cos it’s going to be a big move for us as we most likely will have to move house. Otherwise I’m thinking of trying tao nan which is beside my house but my son is dragon baby so chances is very low even though it’s within 1km. After seeing what everyone said abt the new principal im very worry abt the future of Aitong. I talked to my neighbour who is a teacher for 40yrs rgd changing of principal. She told me it will not affect too much cos quality of teachers are more impt. BTW Pei Chun Public School is a good school it’s not consider a no brand school.

My nephew is entering P1 next year. We are looking to arrange for a cab to send him to- and fro Ai Tong daily so that he does not have to take the school bus at an early hour.

We managed to find a cab driver but he is suggesting us to look for 2 more pax.
