2013: 159
2014: 149
2015: 149
This year I think around 160?
Heard 4 buses were chartered. Plus those who went by themselves.

Just being a busybody - how many qualified for GEP and META this year?
On average it's abt 10 from each HA classes... so abt 40+ GE kids from NY alone & abt 80 META kids.
Wow, that's a lot this year.

Oh, can I also ask for P3, if parents drive after school to pick child, where to the child wait? is it meeting point (near basketball court) for P3?

We never bothered to drive into the school as we won’t be able

to enter until the school buses cleared off. We only do that if it
was raining.

For the first 6 months of P3, my son would be waiting outside Gate A.
We timed our arrival so that we could just stop momentarily for him to
hop on and quickly drive off.

The last few months, he followed the crowd and walked to
the HDB car park where we would be waiting.

They are 8, going to be 9.
Don't worry...they make friends quickly. 😄

Hi,

I would like to transfer my son to GEP in NYPS next year. Does anybody have any idea if my younger daughter who is in the same sch as my son currently is able to be transferred there as well? If not, what is the chances of getting in later?
Thanks in advance!

She will be put on wait list. I know of one who was transferred in after waiting for 2 years.

but if i need to drive in then where is the waiting place for P3? I mean the official waiting point place…is it Nanyang kindergarten or still at Basketball meeting point?

Also, for CCA, when in Primary 4 they will send form for kids to choose CCA for those who have not joined? I enquired about some CCA and reply was that only take in at P4…so should we just wait till they send us form? CCA any importance…?

There will be a CCA orientation day which will be announced - should be in January every year.
Your kid will be invited to stay back and go around all the CCA's to see & ask questions. Some may hold trials as there are limited slots. I believe the submission is online but the teachers will give you the form with the exact info (dates, method of submission, what to bring, etc).
