Hi Sunshine_mummy,
If you’re looking for a place within 1km of MGS, check out stats of balloting history. Worse case, rent a condo/flat to get into the school first. If your gal gets into MGS, it will be wonderful bcos there is affiliated sec school. No headache at P6 over competition with other kids. All the best. -
Hi, very happy today....just got an email from St Hilda on the PV acceptance....Its a long waiting process. We sent in our application, selected for the briefing and and later went for the interview....Finally the long wait is over.....
So happy..... -

Nothing is 100% confirmed at this point of time... we can only judge based on past stats.. From 2004 to 2009, no balloting under 2B was required. I remembered during my girl's registration, the admin guy told us sure no need to ballot one, but we were still very kan-cheong... as we can never be sure of grassroot leaders who may suddenly come in. End up there were 65 applicants for 70 places that year and we were so relieved.
Confirm no ballot under 2B?? I definately can contribute more than 40 hours if they really requires... as long as my gal can get in the school
But last year there were only 47 applicants for 67 places. I wonder if they reduced the PV intake. -

Not all schools allow this. I know of a school which asked u to decide whether u want daddy or mummy to do the PV? Once u decide, only the daddy or mummy can do the PV, cannot combine.
But other schools allow combination...
