There is this single premium insurance plan for 5 yrs by OCBC int rate , 1.88% per yr .

Anyone tried or buy ?is int rate guaranteed
Capital is guaranteed at end of yr 5 endowment plant

I was told the min amt is 20k
I didnt buy it
I bought the plan from china life; pay 3 years and mature in 5 yrs. The min was lower

There's a lot of fixed deposits that require fresh funds to qualify for promotion


Lets say I have a bank account with Bank A. Bank A has a 1.8% promotion for fresh funds time deposit of at least $20,000 for 12 months. Can I withdraw $10,000 2 times from Bank A on 2 different dates, transfer to Bank B, and withdraw from Bank B to Bank A for the fresh funds time deposit promotion?
