When will the psle results be released for this year? Is it Thursday or Friday ?
daughter's teacher said it's usually first friday after the last week of term 4.
a mummy mentioned earlier teachers are recalled to counsel p6 students on thur...which should be more accurate since it's current. -
Results will be out on 24 nov.

My dd is currently doing Higher Chinese. Can someone tell me the difference in Higher Chinese and normal Chinese in terms of mainstream express O Levels exams (non IP)? DD may have to decide which one to do.
Higher Chinese at O level (same as IP Higher Chinese by the way) would be at a higher level than standard Chinese. Students take the O level standard Chinese paper in Sec 3 and then the Higher Chinese paper in Sec 4. Taking Higher Chinese and getting a pass exempts the student from having to do Chinese in JC.
Anyone, please correct me if I am wrong, k?

thanks...some form of closure. -
SpartanMum:
Yes, this is the case. Don't have to spend time on Chinese lessons in JC 1st year. Works the same way for IP. Now there's a new oral component added to the Higher Chinese paper.randwick:
