Hi, my child is from SST and it is advised to buy the MacBook Pro 13 inch with Retina display. MAC air is light but may not be powerful enough as certain software is needed for lessons in sst. Hope this helps

Has anyone logged into the vendor’s website to view the macbooks available? I went in to see and only macbook air are available. The models dun seem to the latest as well.


Anyone knows if they will roll out more models or the macbook pro? Meaning would it be advisable to wait a while more before ordering?

The macbook air specs (2.2GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7) seems to be better than the MACBOOK PRO 13-INCH 2.0GHZ(2.0GHz dual-core Intel Core i5) specs except for the display and thunderbolt 3. Is my understanding correct? Have not decided what to buy yet. Not sure if Macbook air is sufficient.

I think I know what's wrong. My profile has been listed as SMU. I have emailed them to ask to change it to SST.
