Hi parents who drive their kids to school (from the East), is traffic really bad in the bukit timah area in the mornings? What is "best" time to send them to avoid the jam?

Also, where is the drop off point for high school ?

        Thanks so much!

          Hi,

Anybody know how to get the bus transport to MOE Language Centre Application Form? I cannot find it in the booklet given last week?

            Hi,

I dont seem to be able to find out how to fix the buttons and badge on HCI uniforms, not even on HCI web which is pretty weird. Thought such are standard info to be made available. Can share how and where to put on? Need to or can sew it on? Thanks.

I sometimes send my Son to school and I find the best time to do so is before 650 am. Even then there tends to be a Long queue for the u turn to head towards the city. The jam is caused mainly by parents dropping their kids off at RGPS.

as for the buttons, I sew them on. Otherwise, you can put then on by removing the small ring, threading the part that’s jutting out through the button hole, then fixing the ring back below the cloth (so you can’t see the ring from the front of the shirt). The badge is worn on the collar of the shirt - unscrew the back part, pierce the badge through the collar lapel and screw it back.

              Hope that helps!

Forgot to add - drop off point for high school is via gate 3 (just before Namly Ave) or gate 4 (enter by Namly avenue). From gate 3, can drop them along the drive way and exit at gate 2, or Turn Right" after entering gate 3, then left, and drop them at the sheltered drop off point near the open air carpark. Exit via gate 5 (near boarding school) to namly Ave.

If you enter at gate 4, you can drop them along the road leading to HCIS. You’ll also have to exit by gate 5, which will lead you to namly avenue.

Your Son may be able to tell you which he prefers after a couple of weeks as one drop off point may be nearer to his classroom than the other.

                Hope that helps!

I usually pick my Son from the open air carpark (enter by gate 4)

                      Hi,

Anyone can help to advice on the price range of food in HCI canteen? Is there only 1 canteen?

                      Thanks.

                        Hi,
I talked to the student council & know that there is one canteen at the high sch section, one cafe at the swimming pool(maybe food prices ex?) & one canteen at the JC section. He told me the canteen prices are quite reasonable. There are 2 菜饭摊 at the high sch canteen & priced between $2- $2.50 (for 3 or 4 dishes-can't really rmbr). It's near the bookshop & there are about 10 stalls inclusive of drinks stalls ..
I went to exchange DS uniform & checked out the tuckshop..
                        Hope my info helps..
