      Hi Guys,

My son is eligible for Phase 2A(1) of Kong Hwa School. Seeing CHIJ where ballot happened on the first time at Phase 2A(1), I am worried for him.

Kong Hwa doesn't have any affliated Secondary school, so ... no need to worry.
There won't be any balloting at Phase 2A(1), at Kong Hwa.

need to worry, about balloting at Phase 2A(1) :
only if is an extremely hot, popular primary school affliated to the Secondary section, or is a very hot, popular co-ed Gep centre / school,
      eg

      like

      - CHIJ St Nicholas primary (full school, where St Nick primary girls can enter affliated St Nick Secondary for \"O\" level, at cut-off PSLE T-score 230, up till year 2020),

      - Catholic High (full school, where boys can enter affliated Catholic High Secondary for \"O\" level, at cut-off PSLE T-score 240, up till year 2020),

      - ACS Barker primary (not a full school, but boys are affliated to the very popular ACS Barker Secondary division, which offer both \"O\" level Express and \"N\" level stream), or

      - Nanyang primary (an extremely hot, popular GEP school : because NYPS girls can enter direct express into NYGH (IP) curriculum to GCE \"A\" level, at T-score 250, until PSLE \"AL\" Banding scheme take over, from year 2021 onwards), or

      - Henry Park primary (another hot, popular GEP school, located at Buona Vista / Ghim Moh / Holland private housing estate area).

Thanks for the information, wasn't aware of the other factors, was worried about dragon year.

            Hi

I have a dragon boy too, his bro is in P5 at Chongfu now. I am crossing my fingers to register my #2 under Phase 2A as ex student sibling.
Hi, how do you feel about Chongfu? Is it really very stressful for the kids?

Hi all, i am a newbie and checking-in this forum. My girl is born in 2012 also. I am staying in Bukit Merah area. Any parents from this area also?

Just downloaded the PV application form for Radin Mas Pri School which starts this month. The PV application depends on the individual school. You need to call the school to ask or check from their school website. Some schools don’t accept PV anymore. I called one school and they told me they stopped PV in 2015. So please call the school to find out.

                Hello everyone! Happy new year!

I have a dragon boy and we are Catholics. Ideally we would like to enroll to SJI. Ideally would like to move within 1 km but I’m only into my 3rd year of stay in my HDB by the time we register. Anyone know if I will be able to change address on my ic without any problem? Noted that once you change address, HDB is one of the places they will update. Many thanks!

The address on your IC is supposed to show your residential address.

So if you move to a new home, of course you would have no problem changing your address.

However, if you changed your address to one which you are not living in,
then you would have committed a crime for providing false information.

Thanks! How about HDB side? no issue right so long as I don’t rent it out? Thanks!

Yes your hdb will have to be left empty. Do note that it’s obvious from the utilities bill whether it is truly empty on weekdays.
