hi parents, any existing FB group/WA group chat here that I can join?
There's little point in \"chatting\" at this point as there's no guarantee that you will get the school of your choice due to possible risk of balloting for some phases. -
Hi my child also 2018 P1…
-
Am also planning for registration.....2018 intake. At Amk. Most likely Jing Shan Pri Sch. Any parents in same area?

-
Hi, new mommy here.
My girl also will in 2018 primary 1.
I stay in Woodlands area, currently aim for
Admiralty primary school -
Hi all, I am new here too…
I am planning to register my daughter in Pasir Ris Pri under Phase 2C for 2018 intake and my diatance is within 1km.
Based on history, seems there is high chance need to ballot even for <1km, correct?
If we are unable to get accepted during <1km balloting exercise, will we be taken in 1st when comes to 1-2km balloting or do we have to join the group and fight the chance again?
Look forward to your advise…thanks ! -

Balloting for those living within 1km had happened for Pasir Ris Pri for many years.Hi all, I am new here too...

So yes, it is safe to say there will be balloting next year as well.
If we are unable to get accepted during <1km balloting exercise, will we be taken in 1st when comes to 1-2km balloting or do we have to join the group and fight the chance again?
There seems to be some misunderstanding here.
Why is there balloting? Because there are not enough openings to be given to all applicants.
Because of distance priority, places are to be given to those living within 1km first.
So when there are not enough places to be given to those living within 1km, balloting
for < 1km will be conducted. If there are not enough places for < 1km, why would there be places
available for 1-2km?
Meaning when you failed balloting for <1km, then that's it!
No more chance (except to go on waiting list) at Pasir Ris Pri, and
you will have to register at another school for phase 2CS.
Hope that's clear enough. Good luck! :xedfingers: -
