Hi all, we are glad that my dd is posted to CGS.

May I ask if there is a school bus service? We live in Jurong. Has anyone taken the bus service? Can share with us the experience? Thanks!

Hi! As a graduating student of CGS, I thought it might be useful to list down some of the \"nice\" parts of being a crescentian.

        1) As much as there is the academeic stress, the school gives us time to have fun and go crazy in events such as Crezunite Week. (The school \"sponsor\" us with some food every year)
        2) The students in CGS are very \"enthu\". They cheer like crazy for their friends who won prizes, and like they are quite a fun batch
        3) All the subj combinations are good as long as you choose the correct one for yourself (like there isn't any bad subj combi in CGS)
        4) The teachers are like nice because they don't mind giving us loads and loads of consultations (Even though some like to \"seenzone\" our emails tho)
        5) This might be abit unrelated but the location of CGS is nice also (Can take direct bus to ikea)
There are many more good points to CGS, but these are just a few.. (The rest, are for my new juniors to find out!!! :))

P.S. For some shameless self promotion here, JOIN THE ANGKLUNG AND KULINTANG ENSEMBLE!!!! (Like its quite fun inside and like the seniors are nice, and the songs we play are nice ~sometimes) I think my juniors will be performing in the Sec 1 Campfire so, do take note of them also!! (My Juniors, or rather your future might-to-be seniors are rlly nice) AHAHHA THANKS

My dd had a mixed feelings today, being in a girls school is something new experience , enjoyed the loud cheer and the enthusiastic behaviour of the seniors. At the same time she was missing her old school and friends...felt bit emotional when she came back home but she was quick enough to make new friends. She made a new friend staying near our locality, both came back home together 🙂

Hi dd’s tscore was 246. Do u think she will be able to catch up with the rest since she is one of the lower scores ones? Last year cop was 243. Also any parents from yishun. Would appreciate if someone shared the shortest route to and from yishun and cgs. Have heard many positive comments about cgs. Hopes my dd gets in!

                      Dun worry too much.

If she met the COP, means she is fully qualified for the sch. Just ask her work hard and try her best will do

                      All the best to her!

Around 84.4% choose to go to Jc.

VJC is around 6%. The Jc they go to is rather spread out. Top of the list is hci.
