      Hi,

I am currently looking for a childcare for my son and daughter 18 months and 3 years old respectively.

I have shortlist a few here.
      1. Carpe Diem Kidz Pte Pte
      2. Cherie Hearts (harbour front)
      3. Agape little Uni at One north
      4. Sparkle Tots child care at alexandra (read quite good feedback there so will check out)

any parents has experiences with these schools? How is the cirriculum like, environment, fees etc.

My boy currently with gug so curriculum quite advance...so want to continue from there and do not want to slow down his progress...i am changing school for him due to some unforeseen circumstances.

          Hi elaine,

My 5 year old came from Cherie Hearts (from HarbourFront), nice environment but subsequently I got worried with their security there as they have glass doors. And children old enough can actually push through those doors and play either at the lift lobby or the admin office. There is also a door that links the children's toilet to the lift lobby and sometimes it's left ajar and not locked.

I was there on the first 3 days when my then 3 year old was with Cherie Hearts. Those younger children (as they have infant care and toddler care) were left to cry becos they 'dun listen to teachers'. The teachers that I see basically keep talking (non-stop) amongst themselves.

You can check out the feedback of Cherie Hearts http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?t=554

My 2nd boy (just turned 20 months) is currently at SparkleTots childcare at Alexandra. It's affordable and I like the teachers at their toddler class. Very strict but very good and caring teachers. He comes back humming songs (he's been there since 18 months) and will keep his utensils after he finishes his food at home (taught from school).

                  Hi Blueydoo,

Mind if u share how much is Little Skoolhouse at SGH charging for halfday prog?
                  thanks.

                  Hi,

Any new info to share? Am still on the lookout for schools near Bt Merah area. So far I've visited Moral Childcare & Little Skoolhouse at SGH. Moral childcare price is very reasonable. But location abit inconvenient for me plus they seem to have only 1 hour lesson for half day.

Little Skoolhouse at SGH seems abit old, but alot of space, and they have big areas for outdoor play, sandplay, waterplay. The curriculum also seems quite ok, and price is within my budget.

Am planning to check out Eager Beaver (Safra Mt Faber), Cherie Hearts (Bt Purmei or Depot Rd), and Appleland Montessori at Depot Road. And also Dardis at Bt Merah.

I would like to recommend this interesting pre-school, Arts Kidz Preschool at Tiong Bahru to mummies here.

I came across this school thru another mummy’s recommendation at another forum. The school environment is v good, quiet and peaceful. It has interesting curriculum. Yoga, violin, chinese speech and drama, outdoor play, excursion every term, music appreciation. Specialised teachers teaching in each area. It has good teacher and student ratio. 1.10 for K1 and K2. Smaller for younger groups. When i visited the school, i feel v comfortable. It is just a different feeling that i had after visiting numerous preschool in tiong bahru areas.
