Thanks for sharing on the open house of QtPS. My boy is P1 next year. I found out from my neighbour that to get a place at student care is pretty challenging. Priority given to those parents who are both working and lower income. The teachers at the student care seems accomodating when she ask if they can help to give her daughter her own assessment books to do and they did helped in this aspect. Another neighbour seems to notice that the school has agood mix of students. Quite \"international\" mix and quite true because last year when I attended the open house noticed quite a few Caucasian parents attending the talk by the principal. This is what I gather from the hearsay. Hope to keep in touch with all of you!!

Yes, I hear that about after school student care for most schools. Pretty much given up hope that I will be able to secure after school care in whichever registered school... Will have to think about alternatives

There is a slightly international mix of students likely due to the catchment area of faculty members working/living in nearby NUS and Singapore Poly (who as foreigners have little choice in P1 registration).

Yes, I was considering between Alexandra & QtPS & New Town. But after much consideration, prefer QtPS since logistics & ECA wise, it suits us best. So I choose the easiest way out. (quite a lazy mummy right?). Your kid is P1 next year? Hope to keep in touch with mummies here. Who knows our kids might be in the same class!

Does any parent know what do they do in Green Club ECA? Would like to find out more from parents with older kids doing ECAs in QtPS now.

Just check with QtPS and was told that there will be an open house soon.
I am sharing this for your information.

QtPS Open House is on Saturday, 15th July 2017.
Time: 8.00am - 1.00pm

I am still exploring between QtPS and New Town Primary school for my kid who will be registering for 2017 intake soon. Appreciate if anyone can share more information about these 2 Primary schools for reference.

hi hi, so near and yet so far. considering QtPS and ZPS although we are < 1km to QtPS than ZPS. waiting for open house to determine which to apply first.
