Hi! May I know if there is a change in principal? Is that the cause of the drop of standard? Thanks in advance!

There’s a change in the principal recently. But I think, SHK is still a very good school, judging on the students that it churns out every year. I’ve heard very encouraging feedback from other parents whose kids have moved to primary schools after graduating from SHK. They’re doing well, not only academically, but also confidently eloquent and active in other activities/pursuits. At least in my girl’s time, they learn as much from their peers as they learn from their teachers.

My girl just started to attend school this year at St Hilda’s N2. She’s adapting fine but I am not so sure about her class teachers. Seems like the cannot cope with kids now. Hope will be better. One of her teacher is rather rude to parents. But anyway, we will see… also looking for Plan B (another kindergarten)

Good school and known for academic rigour. Both my kids attended SHK and I can vouch for the teachers.
