Different CCAs have different requirements, and most CCAs also schedule extra training days during competition seasons. Might be best to check with the seniors during CCA trials, as they can provide more accurate details.Maple leaf:
Hi,
May I know if the boys needs to stay back 3 days per week for all CCAs or just Sports CCA s?TIA.

The specs for the laptops are quite generic..all dependent on what ur boy likes. Some bought surfaces, some bought MacBook and some just normal laptops.hmsg:

I din get one for DS to bring to sch in sec 1 as the principal did say we still have time, can look see in sec 2. But I have one at home that he can use anytime to do his project or conduct collaboration works with his team mates. They use google a lot, so normal laptops are good enuf

donโt think thereโs a requirement for touch screen. my ds is using a normal Asus one which we bought in year 1 (heโs in year 4 now). They use google a lot to communicate with each other, and i think itโs useful to have MS office too. Are the year 1s doing Infocomm now? Back in 2014, one of the subjects was Infocomm and they had to learn some basic programming. I recall Mac OS didnโt work well with certain programming language, which is how he ended up with his own laptop.

CCA Selection is really a headache, more so with limited vacancies in each CCA.
(1) Can DS put down less than 9 choices as he really dun feel like putting a CCA just for the sake of having to put 9 choices. In his own words, "If I anyhow put down the CCA and they allocate me there, then they will say that it is my choice!?!?"
(2) Any idea of the chance of appeal cos I see appeal dates on the announcement.
