Maybe can keep holy innocent primary school in your consideration? Cos last year, phase 2C still had some vacancies. They'll still be in AMK holding school for next year, if I'm not wrong, so perhaps this year's phase 2C would be similar to last year? 😄

We are currently overseas and would need to use our overseas address for registration. That would fall outside the 2km mark. We also do not have preferential treatment so we will definitely end up in Phase 2C. My strategy has always been to go to any school and when we do come back for good, transfer to a better school. My brother however suggested us going for balloting under the popular schools as there is nothing to lose. True but most spaces run out even before the 2km mark if there is any under Phase 2C. Any suggestions on popular schools where I might get a chance to even ballot?

If it's popular, there won't be any places > 2km (or even > 1km); if there are places for > 2km, then it wouldn't be considered popular. Hence, popular school that you might get a chance to even ballot really doesn't exist.

Also, better schools have a long waiting list. It may not be so easy to execute a transfer to a better school upon return strategy. You may end up with a long wait or may not even get the opportunity to transfer. Hence, the school you ended up with may be the final one.

Hello everyone in this post… M new to this post. M a mother of three.girl boy girl. My first girl will be entering P1 next year 2018. M thinking of putting her either into CHIJ nativity or Holy innocent pri.

Still not sure which one to choose as we are not catholic. But we stay less than 1km to ChIJ. However, is a girl school. If choose holy innocent, there might not have a chance to go in as is more than one km. any advise?

                  Hi,

I will be registering my girl under Phase 2C and we are looking at Zhangde Pri (1-2km) or CHIJ Kellock (2.038km). I’m also looking at St Margaret (more than 2km). We are hopping that girl school will be less competitive since it’s for girl.

                  Thanks.

                        Hi all

Anybody have children in Yu Neng or Fengshan primary school? Planning to enrol in either of these two schools so would like to hear more opinion.

                        Many thanks
