      Bangkok Bank 50k 1 yr 1.5%, 18 mths 1.7%, 2 yrs 1.8%

I think there is only one branch in Singapore, at Cecil Street.

Deposit insurance of 50k applies, in case you are worried the bank is small.
      u tried?

Yes. Why not? $50k is guaranteed by Spore govt even if bank were to collapse.

Singaporeans damn rich. The promo has ended prematurely likely due to overwhelming response.

Other banks will likely honour the stipulated dateline. POSB should have also stick to it's announced date and not prematurely withdraw the promotion.
