Sorry to hear about your dad's situation. It is a very tough both for him and the family. Do remember the years' of LOVE that you all shared, and stay strong and united.:)

      Yes, thanks, tankee!

driving on the fast lane with the warblers on full blast. happened to check my rear mirror and saw an ambulance with sirens turned on a few cars behind me. quickly signalled and the driver on the next busy lane was so kind to let me squeeze in. :thankyou: a quick check on side mirror saw the cars behind mine on the fast lane giving way too........ and so did those in front.

everyone was so kind...............hope all went well for whoever was in the ambulance............ šŸ™

Continuing the thread starter's intention, I would like to share my experience of the nice people I met today.........

              1) was carrying my grocery trolley down the mrt flight of stairs.
Uncle behind me:you should be using the lift over there.. It will be easier.
Me:it is ok. This is not very heavy and much faster to use stairs.
Uncle :then you be careful. Slowly walk.
              Me: Ok. Thank you. šŸ™‚

              2) an auntie who was checking multiple ez link cards was holding up the queue that was beside the queue that I was on. She had some difficulties finding the cards in her trolley bag that's why the queue was held up. When she was done, she turned around to thank the person behind for waiting. šŸ™‚ auntie very gracious. šŸ™‚

              3) looking for something in an unfamiliar Cold Storage, I approached a staff who stopped her packing and walked me down to the aisle to ensure I get to the correct shelf. šŸ™‚

I had a similar good experience today too.

At Clementi ntuc, I was looking for a certain brand of mocked abalone. Dd told me out of stock as she could not locate any. So I asked a staff who was pushing out some frozen stuff. He told me he would find the staff who looks after the canned food. In about a minute, a female staff carried a carton of mocked abalone and said sorry for keeping me waiting. I was quite touched and told her no issue at all, as I was still looking through the canned food section.

A few days ago, I parked outside our home. There was a heavy thunderstorm and many small leaves fell on the car. When I was about to go out, I saw that one of my neighbours was picking the leaves off the car. So nice of him!
