wow Janet šŸ˜“ are you the only child? take care of yourself too and hope your mom & dad get well soon.

i am not the only child...brother works long hours in the East and it's month end, so it's a very busy time for him. he discharged dad from the hospital this morning and only slept a few hours the night before.
mum's op went smoothly this time. she also got down from the bed and walking a little with the support.
i've been pumping myself with vitamin c this period.

Star ,Nurse showed us the color report n said stomach looks clear no ulcer or abnormity. There was a 3mm polyp, was removed for further test - but dun think will cause havoc since was small n removed le. Given a date to see doc 2week later .
Mum had very bad acid reflux n bad heart burnt 4 weeks ago which she thought was heart attack , went for thorough heart scan n test too- no issue with heart .

This happened to my husband just over a year ago. He was warded in hospital for suspected heart issues, but there was no problem with his heart. He also had an endoscopy and no problems were found there. Not sure what caused the severe reflux, but after taking the medicine for a few weeks, he recovered and hasn't had a recurrence since. He's never suffered from gastric or reflux before either, so the doctors were also puzzled.

If you suffer pain, you should get it checked out. There could be many reasons which will need different treatments and ops depending on what the issue is.

One common reason is joint degeneration, and glucosamine can help in the initial stages. It doesn't work for everyone, it seems, but it's an easy thing to try. It has helped my husband (frequent runner) but over time, the joint will gradually continue to degenerate. My orthopedic surgeon relative says joints have a certain \"mileage\" (varies from person to person depending on physiology and useage) which gets consumed over time. At some point, they may need to be \"scrapped\" and replaced!
