      MrsKiasu:
so nice of you slmkhoo to invite the girls to use your kitchen. me scolded dd last weekend when she tried to help me with the banana pancake mixture..bad me, feel bad after cooled down. she just wanted to help me. I was in kitchen trying to rush for the breakfast and upon realising dd inside the room trying to use my laptop and printer..so rushed in to help her and she fast hand fast leg went into the kitchen and did the mixture.by the time I went in, she told me just need to crack an egg into the batter.

I'm not that nice - I didn't \"invite\" them, just \"allowed\" them! And one was a guy. My daughter was going to bake anyway, so when she said she'd like to invite a couple of friends, I said \"ok\". But they are already in JC2, so it's not the same as having a bunch of Pr school kids doing stuff in the kitchen. At that age, the most I would have allowed was probably decorating cookies! They weren't as efficient or as neat as I would have been, but they have to start somewhere. They certainly generated a lot more washing up that I would have, but they did all the clean-up themselves. They will learn!

It's good to allow your own kids to help in the kitchen - where else will they learn? My older girl has no interest and I have had to insist that she learn some basics. My younger one is more interested and I can see that she has picked up a few skills along the way at home and in school. She's not very proficient, but has enough basics to survive and improve when the need arises.

The HK tv drama My Dearly Sinful Mind seems complex for me to understand and enjoy
I am likely to give it a miss

                        Finally the weekend is here

Sitting at the lift lobby to enjoy the air con, seeing residents entering and leaving, waiting my supper Domino Pizza to arrive …
