I have oily hair so have to wash hair diligently. Skip 1 day and my hair will look flat. Conditioner also makes my hair appear flat.

I hardly use hairdryer. Never use hair spray, except on my wedding day πŸ˜‚ Wow so many steps to add volume. I read already feel tired πŸ˜‚ Now I simply bend forward and mess up my hair then flip right and left, can be ready to leave house liao. My laziness overwrites everything πŸ˜†

You prefer straight hair? Have you tried jojoba oil on hair?
dd1 hair texture is different from dd2 and I. She has super thick hair and abit uncontrollable.
I bought jojoba oil for her to apply and managed to change her hair texture after 1.5 years. Now her hair is very manageable and no longer need to apply oil

Ya have tried varioud oils over the years - so so for me, more for nourishing and shine than for taming. I just like to a change once in a while. Currently my hair is on soft rebonding with my natural curls at the bottom, so can blow straight or enhance the natural curls, result is like a c- perm. If i don’t straighten, with the right products will be like s perm hair. If i use a diffuser, i can get loose ringlets. But the hairdryer is very heavy, so i don’t do it often. Lol.

If your daughter has natural wavy hair, she can half dry it, put in the oil and tie into a loose plait. Remove when dry and brush out gently. She should get nice tidy waves.
For thick hair i highly recommend a detangler.

          I recall you have eczema.

Eczema is permanently on my lower legs and feet. Just yo-yo between flare up or remission. Now feet having a flare up again 😒 need start applying steroid cream
Palms okay if I avoid detergents. Can't even use those liquid handwash at shopping malls toilets will trigger eczema. I still use lah but need to standby lotion

That's similar to ds2. It took me a long time to clear his feet. Did it happen after you stepped in some detergent or your shoes rubbed the skin of your feet? You may want to check if you can wear whichever material the shoe is. I know of a case where the eczema was a reaction to leather products.

Wear cotton houseshoes at home to protect them.

Avoided scalp. Only on her hair. Already stop using oil for a year. Very good. Effect remains.
dd1 has short hair and layered internally. So her hair appear thinner and straighter. Not frizzy.

I will try the jojoba, oil. we have lots of hair though dd2 has super straight and soft hair. my hair so much tamer as i grow older. that’s why no need frequent rebond. now even 1 time rebond a year is still manageable. when i was in my twenties, need rebond about after 3/4 months.
