Still need to state primary school academic result during the application. Need to state P5 & P6 result. During 2nd interview than submit documentation.

When applicants submit DSA application form, they also submit ALL supporting documents , since the DSA selection process itself is so competitive !!

          eg
Say, an applicant apply for Maths DSA domain, into NJC.
Maths applicants will submit their Maths Olympiad results sat for, etc

So from the supporting documents submitted, NJC is able to tell :
who are the stronger applicants, vs those who didn't even enter nor sat in any Maths contest before, in P5/P6.

Thus, is back to square one.

From the webpage they have stated that no submission of documents is needed for phase 1.
And njc does not have any DSA via academic routes this year.

For parents / child who are interested to apply DSA at NJC, please refer to the school website for instructions.

Do take with a pinch of salt of some posts by a certain ksp member who can be seen posting all over ksp primary schools and secondary school threads. This member sometimes gives out inaccurate information.

I wanted to ask for those parents who went for the school tour and talk yesterday.

Did the P clarify whether DSA Acad is out? The DSA categories this year seem to be only sports, performing arts, music and art.

                        Solely about Subject Combinations
Compulsory: LA; MT; Maths (comprising both E & A); Chemistry (Pure); Governance and Society; PE
Co-Curriculum Compulsory: CCE; SPIRE; Aesthetics Ed; Adventure Ed; CCA; Boarding
Science/Humanities Option (5 combinations choose 1): Since 4 of them require qualifying conditions, most will take PB.
Humanities Option (2 choose 1): last year 5 classes chose Geography over History.

There are of course Electives (6)... Details (including selection timeline) can also be found within the Module Info Booklet & Parents Seminar Briefing slides disseminated early in the year.
