At the close of Phase 1 of the P1 Registration Exercise 2017 today, 43 % of vacancies has been taken up by siblings of our West Springers ! :rahrah: :thankyou:

We heard that the school has been receiving many queries about Open House. West Spring has stopped conducting Open Houses since 3 years ago so as to allow teachers to better focus on spending time teaching our children well & not be distracted by Open House preparation. At West Spring staff are well taken care of so that they're able to focus on their work & instead teach our children well. Hi, when your child is just beginning school at P1 and P2, a key focus would be building confidence and desire to learn. As the school adopts Holistic Assessment practices, your child's development will be supported by a range of appropriate assessment modes for different purposes. At this stage, the assessment approach places less emphasis on semestral examinations to provide your child with more opportunities to experience success and build his/her confidence and desire to learn. At the end of P2, the students have Semestral Assessment. By the way at West Spring Primary all classes have a good mix of students with different abilities. There is no stand out class. Hopes this will clear your doubts.
