My dd is not a academic student. She achieved less than 150/300, yet also shortlisted for audition. I am surprised the shortlisting as tot they expect a 200 tscore mimnimum. With my dd result, there is a hugh gap of 50mark(tscore) difference which i foresee unable to achieve. Now i am considering if to spend the $70 for audition?

But apart from passion, she will still need to achieve the minimum academic score to qualify.

That said, PSLE is still some time away. Why announce the death sentence when the trial has yet to begin.

Sinsin, why not just go ahead and if she got a confirm offer, use it as an encouragement for her to work hard?

sinsin, ask your dd if she is keen to attend the TA. Let it be her call if to at least attend the TA or not. Give her a chance.

any idea how many pupils have been shortlisted for the TA-Dance?

Any similar traits amongst the pupils selected? ie competition winners? Grade 5 above? certain dance school? academically very strong?
