Just make sure the children have a watch to see the time. Last year, my daughter went for audition and she was happily waiting in the canteen and missing 45 mins of the group interview i think. till some seniors come and get her. Lucky she got a place.

Does it? I thought the entrance test is the same for all SOTA students applying under different categories?

My dd is not a academic student. She achieved less than 150/300, yet also shortlisted for audition. I am surprised the shortlisting as tot they expect a 200 tscore mimnimum. With my dd result, there is a hugh gap of 50mark(tscore) difference which i foresee unable to achieve. Now i am considering if to spend the $70 for audition?

Don't think so much. Got chance good enough already. Go for that audition.

Yes it is same but i think they might split them into groups. Means after the computer ,they will go do their respective art forms.

I extracted the message from the TA website and I think there will be another announcement for the audition.

Please note that the schedule for Entrance Tests will be released on 15 June, by 12:00 pm.
Schedule for TA Audition will be released on 15 June, by 6:00 pm.


I remembered asking the counter staff when I was there to make payment and was told that the TA will be on 2 days.

Hi all! I'm new here. My girl shortlisted for Visual Arts too.

what i understand is moe students just need to take the online cognitive test. only non-moe need to take additional written cognitive test.
Guess we need to wait for SOTA to upload the TA audition info. Waiting...waiting...

Individual schedule is out. It’s not in the "Announcement" section. It is posted on the application page where the application status is. My dd is attending the 22 June session B.

Can someone pls enlighten me - what’s the difference between panel interview and portfolio interview? Thanks!

Basically, portfolio interview is individual art form interview with 2 teachers, panel interview is a group (around 6) interview with 3 academic teachers.
