Don't self pity but be strong
He is just as normal as others
Does he enjoy himself in poly?

I have been working afternoon shift this week and this allows me to have some WE time at home with dd in the morning.

he is as normal as any other 17 year old. oh yes, he is enjoying poly life.

Great, this is the most impt - enjoying himself while learning

Looking back, studying in tertiary institutions should be one of the best moments in life. We broke away from the hard rules and rigid studying in pri and sec schools. We had some freedom including decision making before we stepped into the working society

the best part about studying in the poly is not having to take chinese. when studying in tertiary institutions, discipline is very important.

There are 4 weeks in a month.I will pay 2 weeks of groceries and my wife will pay for next 2 weeks.I hold a lot of portfolios at home like Chief Cook,Cleaning Supervisor,Maintenance Crew,Investigation Officer,CEO,CFO,COO,Judge,Jury and Executioner,Teacher and Counsellor.

The girls love to go to the supermart with us and DD1 usually walks with Mommy while DD2 likes to hold my hand and we stroll down the aisle and enjoy our shopping as a family.DD2 sticks to me a lot.

Even when I go to the carpark to wash my car, take a short drive to the petrol station to pump petrol or even drive to the fish farm at Jalan Kayu to buy fishes for my tank,DD2 will insist to tag along with me.DD1 rather stay with Mommy at home and listen KPop songs. If DD2 cannot come along, she will cry or sulk.

I cannot imagine how DD2 will feel when I go for my overseas trainings in Australia and the US in the coming months.

DD2 sometimes really make me angry esp through her run-ins with the teacher in school yesterday but I am still thankful that she is my daughter who loves me and she understands that I discipline her because I love and care for her.

I love DD1 no less than DD2 though. In fact,I love my whole family!

your younger daughter is very much like mine. she sulks when hubby doesn't bring her out. son prefers to stay at home unless he wants a break from his school work. your younger one is 10? i think you need to explain to her your job requires you to be away soon.

Both of them are born on the same day in 2006.Just turned 11.I did explain to her but she needs to have constant reminders that I am flying out for training.

If my in laws are not here,I would have flew the whole family to Australia for a short holiday in September.

Sometimes,I have to sneak out of the house when she is in the toliet.

Dunno how my wife will handle her.Anyway,my in laws will be here too.

What I am interested in right now is to bring DD1 and DD2 up in the ways of my faith.I am not a results oriented father.Their characters are more important.Always stressed to them character comes first.

DD1 is not as close to me as DD2,she is closer to my wife.

She is asking me if I can send her for guitar lessons because she is interested in learning. DD2 only wants to stick with me and sometimes she hides my car keys in her effort to stop me from sneaking out without her.

If I manage to sneak out,she will throw a fit to my wife until I come back.

                      are your girls twins?
since you are going to be away, let your wife and daughters spend time with their parents/grandparents. with your in laws in singapore, your wife won't be so stressed...your younger sticky one will be distracted from your absence too.
