      Ammonite

I am referring to the whole layout
There are steps and they just made me wary of missing the steps

The children section is where daiso used to be. The teen/adult section is situated at the original location. When you say whole layout do you mean both separate units because their layouts are different. Both have steps, but only the children section has circles everywhere. I don't like it either, but the kids seem to like it well enough.

I thought the teen/adult section is very suitable for older students who may need to do project work.

          Saturday is almost over

I did nothing much except had an afternoon nap
          Doing nothing is ME time?

I believe so. For me, ME time is something you do to relax and forget about the chaos around. For moms especially those who have younger kids, taking a nap comes just once in a blue moon so why not take advantage of it? 😂

Meaning the library now has two sections, opposite each other across the entire building on the top floor?

I have not been to BPP for a long long time.
Steps seems to be an unfriendly design, and could be a real hazard to the elderly and also not so wheelchair friendly. How bad are the steps? Any photos to share?

Then I am referring to the adult section tucked at the end of the top floor
Yes, there are lots of desks for students to do their work

Did you apply for the flats near Keming Pri?
That site is real convenient to supermarkets and wet market
Aug is not that far from now 🙂
                All the best to you
                Starlight,
It has been a mad period for the past 2 days.
Hubby has urgent eye operation...retina detachment to be exact.
Went to SGH A&E on Monday morn. Doctor scheduled his op on Thursday when vision in one eye was already serious :faint: explained to the doctor why op had to be carried out asap. Fortunately he squeezed in at 5pm. I was at SGH from 7am to 9pm on Monday. Went to SNEC for post op review, he had seizure when nurse was cleaning his eye...first time he encountered this. I was totally shocked. After the eye review, went to A&E for checkup. Had battery of tests done. Tests showed brain & blood tests normal. Another long day until 9pm. Doctor told him he had to lie face down so that his retina would be in place after the op. But this patient is not obedient :stompfeet:

                  Starlight,

I applied for bukit batok. Now hoping for an earlier number so that I have more choices. I don’t mind those beside Keming (sky peak) but hubby and kids prefer skyline.
From now to august, there is nothing I can do but pray and hope for these 2 areas.

With a disobedient patient who doesn’t understand health is wealth, I am going bonkers soon.

                    Janet

Retina detachment is a serious matter
One of my colleagues has it done at SNEC and was given about a month MC
The patient has to look down most of the time during the period of recovery
What are the symptoms of retina detachment?
My colleague said that like having a curtain in his eye!

Janet - sorry to hear about your husband’s eye. I hope he will heal well and quickly - for your sake too!

Janet, that sounds serious. Take good care of your dh. Wish him a speedy recovery.
