Understand that RGS has started the interview for shortlisted candidates. If my DC still haven’t received any news yet, does it means that she is likely to be rejected? Anyone here haven’t heard from RGS too? Or do anyone receive news on the domain test that is going to be conducted on the 22/7? She applies under Academic Math domain. Thanks

There's no news abt test on 22/7 yet. Some still going for interview this coming wk for maths domain.
Actually not sure abt all need to go thru interviews or some might just skip to the test on 22/7.

Hi Busy Mummy,

We didn't get any info from RGS too (Eng). No rejection mail either. When i checked with them they ask us to wait for mail.
Maybe as scotia said, it'll be direct test or rejection mail. :xedfingers:

I think cca should be a passion and/or an interest of our kids more than just a tool to dsa. Maybe that's why moe is trying to adjust cca domain every year?

I can only speak for my case with my elder one. She didnt really get to select a CCA of her choice, as she didnt really know what she wanted when she was in P4. So the school ended up choosing for her as she got selected to be in Robotics, while initially I put her for athletics (Track and Field) as I wanted her to get some exercise.

I feel for most (my 2 daughters definitely included) dont really know what they want, and they do need a bit of guidance from the parents to help and naturally we would want to guide it towards a CCA that could be one lead to a successful DSA.

And I am more inclined for sports DSA for my 2nd one, but if it changes every year...it will really be tough...I guess we just have to make a bet and hope it works out...

Any information as to when we will be receiving letter from RGS for the selection test. My DD applied under math academic and till now her application status shows in progress. Few of her classmates have attended one interview already and going for another this week. Bit worried…

22 July is the half day camp. Based on last year experience, very likely to be a rejection if not informed of interview by this week. Not aware of anyone that skip interview.
