You need to bring both originals and photocopies

Center of school to center of block. In highschool, we learn that distance between two bodies is the distance between their centers. Example, If the gate of school is 1 km from your lift, but centers are 1km 5 meters apart, I am sorry for you.

for certain condo/hdb blocks, they could fall under the 1km radius to the school...even within the same estate, the inner blocks may be out of 1km. so if suay suay staying out of 1km, then your child would have to ballot if need arises.
i still remember this because back then during son's registration, some of his kindergarten classmates were staying in same condo...1 got in under 1km but there was another one who had to ballot because the block was out of 1km range.

You are right. As I said, it is center of block, not center of condo or estate. So every building/block is calculated individually. If it is landed, individual units r calculated.

:yikes: year in year out my school will station 1-2 teachers there to help collect original copies to office to copy. None of the parents seem to know the need to photocopy.

make several copies of all the essential documents…this way, you don’t get flustered nor pay sky high prices.

birth cert, marriage cert, immunisation form whatever. my hubby checked the documents the night before we registered and in the morning before we left the house.

Just curious. Phase 2B is for PV, etc, since I can only do PV for one of the schools, does that mean Phase 2B i can only apply for the school that i did PV and nothing else?

yup. since you only did PV for that school, you can only register under 2B. if balloting is required and unsuccessful, then you would have to register under 2C.
