welcome back! have you said hi to the little one in wife's tummy yet? she has not heard your voice before.
Everyone was glad to see me home.I told my wife about DD1 and DD2's misdeeds regarding their homework and she told me it was hard enough carrying 2 more girls.Told me to check their work instead.I cooked a sumptuous seafood dinner for the family to welcome myself back.MIL and her sis helped out while my wife rested because she was too tired.
DD2 gave Mommy's stomach unhappy face looks and pouted when I spoke to her 2 younger sisters though. -

Speaking of DD2,she refused to talk to me when I greeted her and gave vague answers to my questions.She also refused to talk to Mommy and zehzeh too.She did respond to my MIL though.
Tomorrow no school for both of them.Hopefully DD2's anger subsides soon after a night. -

still upset and jealous over mummy pregnant? if she responds to your MIL, then i guess only she can help to talk some sense into #2. she is too sticky to you, so with 2 new meimeis, it is hard to accept.

maybe you can bring the girls out for ice cream to assure them nothing will change, but you will be handling their homework and coaching since mummy is tired and busy. -
acually i m still dealing with the 'need of sharing mommy' with dd1
situation is so much better now but I dont think it will go away completely. reassurance in the first few years and when she is bigger it will be more on making her understand.. it will be telling her that I need to love both as both are my children. dd1 is the one asking for a meimei when I thought one is enough..and she loves her meimei when meimei still in my womb till not too long after baby is born...but will be worse when baby is more grown up and start to see jiejie getting jealous of her getting mommy's attention..she will learn to want it too story will continue and continue -
handling sibling rivalry is challenging. when i was expecting #2, my son was just 4. he was very young and didn’t feel any sense of rivalry because he is very close to my parents. during that 1 month confinement, it happened to be his year end holiday (november). we hired a maid then and parents brought him out almost everyday. so he enjoyed the extra attention showered on him. as he grew older, it was necessary to remind him he is now gor gor but he is still very much loved. daughter is a handful, so i had to be strict with her as she tends to bully her sibling. she is close to gor gor because i am strict and won’t put up with her nonsense.
