Firstly, they will be put in groups of 4 or 5. There will be a group project where some materials are give. They are required to use those materials to come out with a solution for the given problem. A teacher will be assigned to each group.
It is important that your child participate and not be a bystander. The outcome of the project is not so important, but how the group works together and how your child actively involves in the project is more important. I remember that my child told me there was a boy who is very passive and the teacher needed to prompt him to take part. This is not a good sign as SST has a lot of hands on learning.
After the project, each child will be interviewed individually by the teacher. Just advise your child to be himself/herself and enjoy the camp.

My DS just got the invitation for selection camp on the 5th August. He took the selection test in June (24/25th ... I forgot when).

Does all the student writing CRT/GAT called for this session or only selective? am not sure how many wrote
and how many normally called ? Any idea? -

I recalled that there is a post mentioned about the interview.Maybe u can look back few pages..
I have attended the open house.. the VP said initial selection is based on CRT/GAT plus the application form and selected x no for interview. -

my DD attended GAT test on 8Jul and rec’d camp invitation on sunday 1.20pm. her camp is on 5Aug 11.45am.
i also wondering what test will given for them during the camp…
