Anyone know if it's compulsory to attend the admin day? What we expected during the admin day?

Hi I am new here and I am planning to enroll my child in maris stella high in years to come lols, can I find out what are the chances of enrolling if we falls out of the 2km range. Is there a need to join any alumni or parents volunteer grp to stand a higher chance? Thanks in advance!
