actually just plan your holidays if you need to. Don't need to be in school physically to collect the results. The S1 posting exercise and registration is more important as it has to be done by the child and failing which you need to appoint a proxy with all relevant docs in advance..
We have already booked our tickets!
We are leaving right after the release of the results assuming that it's released on the 27 Nov latest.
According to MOE, parents to submit their child’s S1 options 7 calendar days starting from the release of PSLE results (e.g. when PSLE results were released on 24 November 2016, options could be submitted from 24 to 30 November 2016).
If DSA is successful, we don't even have to worry abt above S1 right? -
Yah… But DSA doesn’t look beaming for him. Back to basics! Study hard and go by S1 posting.

Just received from RVHS via SMS this afternoon. "Dear Parents, your child’s DSA Confirm Offer Letter will be send out by end of this week. Note: Tea session with Principal has changed to 29 August 6:30pm"
I am certainly impressed with their efficiency and differentiation from the other schools offering DSA program in the way and how they do things. -

Francoise:
If you accept the DSA place, for S1 you still need to formally go online to acknowledge and select whether you want a third language option (what language offered will depend on your aggregate score). You do not need to select the schools.Imp75:
