this Half-day-programme is not for everybody, but for selected candidates only, which RGS feel they need to assess further.
When question her : how they select students to attend Half-day programme, she replied she has no info on this.

For NJC, please call the admin to ask for your DC' CCA domain' s status. According to the admin, they are still in the midst of shortlisting for different domains. For Basketball (girls), notification will be release by Friday tomorow. For Shooting (girls), will be next week, not this week, but still need to call and check their status every now & then. Other sports domain you might have to ask individually.
Ganjiongspider, have you receive any email from NJC Shooting? My friend's dc also went for trial but haven't receive any news from njc yet.
Too many pro- shooters & my DD fit in their criteria \"no prior experience is required\".....haiz....

If there is a tea session on 12-Aug, then CO and WL most likely will be informed 1 week before, probably by this Friday.Anyone in same shoes as me? DS not called for interview at NUSH n did not receive rejection email.
For those who went for NUSH interview, any inkling when they will release results? :frustrated: -

Anyone rec'd email for interview from DHS under Performing Art (Chinese Orchestra)?
From my conversation with the 3 persons (at least a teacher from DHS and a teacher from Shangyin Music School) during the DHS-Performing Arts (CO) audition, the indication given to me is that there will be no call-up for interview. Results of DSA will be released at end of Aug.
I was also told that this year, there are many students who DSA through CO, perhaps due to the removal of GAT.
But if you are following this threads, some parents commented that they had (or their friends had) received email notification. Last email sent was supposed to be on 30/7/17, Sunday.
I'm not sure if we can assume that what I understood (no interview) is correct. Or perhaps no email really means no chance. I'll take it as 'no chance'. Who knows for those who did not receive interview-notification, there may be a pleasant surprise on 31/8/17 (for those still wishing for a glimpse of hope).
We should now concentrate on the coming PSLE oral exam and school's prelim if we do not receive notification for interviews.

I also learnt that some applicants only went for HDP without interview (For academics applicants) -

Someone wrote earlier that this year MOE requires all applicants to go through same selection process, so is RGS allowed to exempt some applicants from HDP? Or there is no such MOE requirement?phtthp:

Anyway some RGS interviewees, who were not called up for HDP, have received rejection emails.
Not too sure about the MOE requirement - perhaps it is referring to the removal of GAT which is compulsory from 2018 applications.
