Actually,I asked DH if it is okay for me to use his car to drive the girls to and fro from school if he goes overseas. He thought over it and advised me not to do so as it is not safe.

Not safe why? Because you're pregnant? Or he doesn't trust your driving? At the moment, you should be fine to drive, but once your tummy gets bigger, it may be better not to drive. I was fortunate I never got really big, so I drove up to my 8th month before my tuny got too close to the steering wheel (I'm short). It's good to be able to drive if you have a car available, but it's also no harm getting your girls to be independent. It will mean that you don't have to factor in their schedules if you're busy, and you will be once the babies arrive.

I was able to drive the car until one week before I gave birth. Then I stopped driving.

If you keep to the extreme left lane and drive slowly, it should be fine. But do take note that preggy women anytime can suffer leg cramps! If you are easily fatigued during last trimester, you may just fall asleep when driving under hot sun.

Why not safe to drive? I drove all the way until time to deliver.

I travelled overseas quite frequently as well when preggy with DD. Until I was in my last trimester and I stopped not because I was pregnant but cos company clamped down on travelling due to SARS.

I forgotten that they do not know the neighbourhood well because they are from Malaysia and could get lost easily or get bullied by strangers.
the girls just came to singapore and may not be familar with the environment yet. it's best not to let them be alone in the meantime. you never know who is following them.

He thought that it quite dangerous for me to drive since I have leg cramps and get tired easily nowadays,it is best for him to take the car himself.

If really have the need,he offered to do whatever was needed to be done with the car be it picking up the girls or I needed a lift from him.Actually,I wanted to train them to take the bus or MRT to and from school as to teach them to be independent. No need for Pop to drive them all the time.

Hi,Janet...I do face a problem regarding my girls regarding their safety since you brought it up.

Posted the problem in my home thread.

If you are having cramps etc, then it's best not to drive for now. Enjoy being drive around!

                    Yes! It's Friday!

Going back to my old haunt(Parkway Parade)with the girls to shop around.Wonder if it has changed much.It has been a good 11 years since I last went back there.

And to visit a couple of my teachers at VJC too.Best thing is I got a chauffeur to drive us around for today.

DD2 was quite mad at me though because she could not find her Chou Chou this morning until she saw it hanging wet on the clothesline. No more Chou Chou for her at least for the next 2 days.

Hubby had a medical review at SNEC yesterday (Friday). This time he was attended by the senior doctor....the amazing thing is I got the appointment time all wrong. I kept thinking it is 11am but it was actually 930am. Thank goodness he still managed to see the doctor. Can't believe I could make such a mistake :clubmyself:

Had lunch at PS and then took DTL back.

Wow,maybe you should enter the appointment time into the calendar of your phone so that it will remind you on the day itself.

                        So how's everything?
