Hubby and the girls went for their weekly sports activity while I am their part time security guard by guarding their bags.

Still cracking my brains on thinking Chinese names for my baby girls.

Which characters do you start with for female names?Any suggestions?

Why not follow your elder children?

that's what i thought so too...continuity. then you just have to change the last character for the younger girls, much easier. for eg older twin is x x 美, and younger one is x x 丽.
Kind of hard to put anything after 燕.Any suggestions on nice sounding characters?

Might as well have the same name as Stefanie Sun right haha...

Imho, if u r putting out genuine info, there r too many personal details of your children for their safety. I suggest u delete the post with their names. It will not be hard to narrow down on who they are in real life if someone decides to make the effort.

huiwen didn't mention the kids' surname, so it should be ok. but i made a boo boo when i mentioned which floor and where i stay.

maybe your hubby can bond with father in law over the girls’ chinese names?

ask ah gong for opinion…he will feel important to be part of the naming process…ah gong will think of nice names for his twin granddaughters.

We did ask my parents and my in laws for opinion over the names. They told us to think over them ourselves because we are their parents.

But the names that you gave just now are really nice.

Do you address your kids by shortened forms of their names at home?I still do.Hubby shouts for them as AA sisters.

When I was young, mom used to call me Wenwen and Ah Wen when I was in teenage years.

i address son by his last name and for daughter, hubby calls her 'girl', while i call her 'b' (short for baby).

That will be severely underestimating the strangers around you.
