Come to think of it, Teachers' Day this year falls on Thurs, 31 Aug (maybe because Fri, 1 Sep is Hari Raya Haji). So, 31 Aug is a school holiday.

Hopefully, most schools will rush to send out their comms before the long weekend which starts on 31 Aug. In fact, Wed, 30 Aug is also a half-day in most schools. But not sure whether this applies to the admin staff who may be in charge of sending out the comms.

I agree. I guess 30 August would be last day. For RGS, the website does state that results will be out by 30 August (tentative).
Just hoping it'll be earlier. Then again, we have waited for so many weeks. So what is one more week?

I think at least next week there's Prelims as a distraction.

Very impressed with CHS CO snail mail - there were 2 handwritten cards attached to the letter… one from the MEP teacher and one from a fellow senior to welcome the new student!

Funny story...

Tonight I was at Junction 8 having dinner and saw a lady who looked very familiar. Then I thought I remembered her as the DSA Admin officer of the school my DD has applied to.

Thinking that this was my chance to get some inside info on when the DSA results would be released, I approached her in a friendly manner and said \" Hi! Are you working in XXX School?\"

The lady turned to look at me with a strange expression on her face and said 'No' before walking away quickly, obviously thinking I was some kind of weirdo.

All this endless waiting for results has driven me to desperate measures like stalking strangers in the middle of a mall....
