Parents who receive CO from CHS, just to confirm there isnt any tea session like other schools right? dont seem to read it in the letter.

Don't have...not mentioned in the snail mail package other then the 2 hand written cards

I see, I think maybe the rejection email is for those were not successful in Phase 1 (trial/audition), thus not selected for Phase 2 (Interview). I suspect NJC won’t send out acceptance/rejection for CO so soon since they were still conducting interview earlier this week… ?[/quote]

I went for interview already on the first week of august, but so far havent heard anything from them…just to let you guys know, all the emails they sent to me were on thursdays

any experience parent can share and advise what happens after we receive CO, hoping to plan for a year end trip. will the kids have to report to school with the S1 posting orientation?

If I remember correctly, the kids have to report to school on the 30th of Dec or something like that -- very close to the end of the year. I think my son bought his school uniform on that day too (in the new school). But I would imagine that one can buy the uniforms earlier.

The book lists would be out earlier; you can buy the books earlier in Dec.

S1 Posting Result should be released around 20 or 21 Dec. The following day, DSA kids will have to report to their schools. The school the kid is posted to will be released on the day of PSLE result release day in Nov.

It's important to report to the secondary school posted to if you want your kid to register for 3rd language or any other special programmes. Those schools offering special programmes will also conduct talks to help you understand the programmes.

I'm also waiting, went for interview early August. My elder daughter is in NJC, she said her school is famous for doing things very very slowly, looks like may have to wait till last week of August.

What if I am going on holiday during those dates? Can I ask someone else to help me report to the sch???
