        Polling Day is a PH.

Companies would, most likely, grant an off in lieu for those who are not working on that day.

Students are not affected as they will report back to school on Monday.

Homemakers can claim your off in lieu from your husbands.

              Yes.

If no polling, Mdm Halimah will report to Istana on 14 Sept 2017.

And you? Get back to work!

Not every civil servant gets selected for polling day duties.

Homemakers and freelancers don't get \"off days\" at all, let alone \"off in lieu\"!
I don't know if my daughter's school will be used, and if the teachers will be affected. She has a prelim on that day, so unless they change the date, the school has to be back to normal.

I thought the purpose of making polling day a PH is so that people can go and vote? So, why need to give off-in-lieu for those who already can go and vote on a Saturday? :scratchhead:

If PH is on a Sat, there is off in lieu?

                        hi starlight1968sg

Can you try to recall what your HR offered to staff in 2015? GE2015 Polling Day was on a Sat as well during the Sept school holidays. Unless you’ve changed employer?
